Last week, the Dyne Solicitors team swapped case files for cell doors as we headed to Shrewsbury Prison for a fun and fascinating team-building day and what an experience it was!
From the moment we stepped through those heavy gates, we were transported back in time. We learned all about the prison’s incredible history. From its 18th-century beginnings to its more modern days of operation before closing in 2013 and heard some gripping (and sometimes chilling!) stories about life inside.
After soaking up the history, it was time to test our teamwork. We took part in challenges and activities that had us laughing, competing, and collaborating in true Dyne style! We finished off the day with an escape room which both teams put their heads together and managed to escape before time ran out…. but we’ll let you guess who made it out first!
The day was the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and a little bit of healthy competition. It reminded us how important it is to step away from the desks once in a while, reconnect as a team, and experience something new together.
