  • Making sure that transport operations comply with the operator licence holder’s undertakings and obligations to the Traffic Commissioner
  • Simple steps to reduce the risk of prohibition notices, prosecutions and convictions relating to the operation of commercial vehicles
  • Combating drink and drugs abuse in the workplace, highlighting employers’ responsibilities and the need for relevant health and safety and occupational driving policies.
  • Legal issues related to insecure loads and practical solutions aimed at compliance

John Dyne, of Dyne Solicitors Limited, said: “The workshop is aimed at identifying the threats and providing practical solutions for managers to achieve compliance with their legal responsibilities and for handling potential workplace problems.”
