You are invited to join our team and other managers from your industry at our workshop on Thursday 19th June 2008, Thursday 17th July 2008, Thursday 18th September 2008, Thursday 16th October 2008 and Thursday 27th November 2008. Our objective is to provide those responsible for the management of commercial goods vehicles with the latest legal position in respect of duties and obligations relating to Operator Licensing.

This workshop will:

  • explain the legal duties of a nominated Transport Manager

  • identify common problems areas and pitfalls

  • explain the significance of the undertakings and obligations given to the Traffic

  • Commissioner by a licence holder

  • provide tried and tested methods to ensure the transport operation remains fully

  • compliant with all such undertakings and obligations

  • demonstrate simple steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of prohibition notices, MOT failures, convictions

  • demonstrate simple steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of enforcement action against an Operating Licence.

This workshop lasts for approximately one hour with ample opportunity for questions and answers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and is suitable for holders of the CPC as well as those without the CPC qualification and for restricted as well as standard national and international licence holders.

Our goal is to provide you with practical and pragmatic solutions, to equip managers with the necessary information and knowledge to ensure compliance with the licensing regime as well as techniques for handling problems when they do arise. A simple, easy to follow guide handed out at the end of the workshop will reinforce the core principles discussed by the speaker(s). We will also post on certificates of attendance to all participants, which can be added to personal training portfolios.

There is a modest booking fee of £23.50* per person with every extra person from the same organisation qualifying for a discount of 50% (there is no limit on numbers). Light refreshments will be provided.

Whilst the booking fee is non-refundable if anyone is unable to attend for genuine reasons we will permit the transfer of the booking to the next available Operator Licensing Compliance Workshop.
